Alexander Success Story

Alexander Success Story

Tell us your story: Who are you, where are you from? Why did you start ketogenic diet meal plan? In other words, what's the story?

Hello! My name is Alexander King and I am from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The reason for starting keto diet plan menu is something I'm still figuring out for myself. Since I was a kid, I was overweight and I never liked looking at myself in the mirror. My life revolved around unhealthy habits that lasted all the time. I lack the resilience to change my life and I never have the energy to love myself. As I got older in my youth, depression struck me and really took me to a dark place. My mood became oppressive and I lost all motivation for my future. Suddenly, last year I had a girlfriend while I was over 200 lbs. We had a great time together, but it ended pretty quickly. This moment gives me a reminder that I should treat myself better and stop accusing myself of all the hardships I face. During my stay with this person, my mother adopted this new diet for 6 months. I was blinded by all the suffering that I put myself in, I finally noticed how wonderful my mother looked. I asked her after my relationship broke down, "What are you doing Ma? You look great!" She said, "I'm doing Keto."

What personally did you do during the first 10 days of using ketogenic diet meal plan?

At this point, I was 214 lbs on February 1, 2019. Once my mom introduced me to low-carb indulgence, I thought why not. I was so upset with ending a relationship, so why not try a new challenge to keep my mind focused on another? For the first 10 days I did keto, my mom taught me to drink bulletproof coffee every morning, take vitamins daily, eat all the meats I want and experiment with new snacks for late nights. I eat low-carb biscuits with all the cheese I want, and I eat dark chocolate every night before I go to bed.

Do you strictly count and track macros?

As I began to understand the keto diet plan menu rhythm, I watched for my macros to have less than 25 carbs per day. The longer I stay in the keto, the happier I am to see the results. During the first two weeks of the keto, I lost 10 pounds of water weight, and I noticed the difference. My face looks sharper one morning and that keeps me going. I always make sure my macros are under 25 grams of carbs and consume a lot of fat. The plan lasted for four months and is growing!

How has your life changed since going ketogenic diet meal plan?

My life has changed dramatically for the better. I am more confident in myself not only physically but also mentally. My mind feels a lot clearer and my ability to function has increased exponentially. I no longer feel rude wearing clothes or lying on my side with my belly down. The bones I'm feeling in places I've never felt before are a great wake-up that this is what I need to do!

Have you ever met the plateau? If so, how did you get over it?

Since the beginning of the keto diet plan menu, I have not experienced a single moment of stability. I can confidently say that I have lost a pound or two per week as I weigh myself every Sunday morning. To be honest, I was amazed by how steady I became to lose almost 40 lbs in 4 months! However, I have yet to fulfill my ultimate goal. The goal is to reach 160 and I believe giving myself another month and a half will make me make that money.

WHY (your motivation / motivation) to go in the right direction and focus?

One of the biggest motivations was finally considered on the “normal weight” scale of my body mass index. There is something that is considered normal that makes me feel a lot more accepting of who I am. I've always been overweight to obese and so the chance of me reaching a normal weight will change my life. Another motivation is to feel more narcissistic. I always heard whenever I was depressed a few years ago, "you need to learn to love yourself before you can love someone else." That's why I use keto, to love myself. All the recipes my mom tried make this diet simpler and more like an experiment.

What is your favorite ketogenic diet with meal plan formula?

My favorite recipe will be the zucchini soup my mom made. She cuts the zucchini into small pieces and applies the flavor of the soup along with the chopped cheese. The zucchini is then cooked and evolved into a delicious tender. It is the best alternative of soup to eat. Eating all kinds of different foods, such as zucchini soup, low-carb pancakes and strawberries with sour cream, makes keto less like a diet at all.

Ultimately, what advice would you give for a ketogenic diet with meal plan beginner?

If someone like me a few years ago and wanted to change their lives, I would keto diet plan menu be the answer you need. If you don't want to go on a strenuous diet but still want to lose weight, keto is still the best option. Obviously that dieting might feel like a burden for some, but I can safely say that for keto it is not the same case. I hope with my story, I can motivate someone to fulfill that commitment and stick to their goals. Keto will be the best decision you will ever make for yourself, make sure.

Good luck!

Phil Success Story

Phil Success Story

Tell us your story: Who are you, where are you from? Why did you start custom keto diet ? In other words, what's the story?

My journey from brown rice and chicken to a custom keto with diet is a process of gradually eliminating misinformation and mainstream marketing over the years. As a nurse, we are educated that saturated fat and cholesterol are the main risk factors for many heart disease and cancer. It kept recurring again and again in health care settings, and when I asked for more, I realized that no one (not even a doctor / dietitian) could reasonably explain birth. Pathological reality connects fat in the diet with illness. I became skeptical; I decided the only way to find out was to try it out myself.

Initially, it was a correction to eating all the fat in ribeyes, and not interested in whether I ate too much egg yolks. I have read enough keto literature to believe that I have to trust the science and commit to the diet. The first weeks were challenging, and athletic performance had dropped significantly (I was rock climber / recreational weightlifter); however, I did not foresee the mental and emotional benefits of removing sugars and carbohydrates from my system. Over the years, I had always assumed that I had a tendency to worry and lack of concentration, but it turns out, maybe I was wrong.

Perhaps, we are all wrong.

It's been 7 years since I first started playing custom keto with diet (I'm 31 years old now). Just last year, I completely fell off my horse for 10 months on a diet of beer and snacks. Anxiety returned forever to full force, and relief for a single moment was immersed in the evils of diet. I feel stuck. I have gone back to hell.

Five months ago, I found myself struggling with indifference and depression. My life doesn't feel complete, and my daily aim is simply to look for what will increase my insulin next. I weigh 185 lbs at 5'8 ”and are physically weakest I have ever had since I was a teenager. I have lost my passion for mountain climbing, and I probably didn't sweat a single drop in all this time. Luckily, years ago, losing weight and eating custom keto with diet gave peace of mind that science checked it and I knew it worked. I started climbing again with my registration at my local club's gym. I have set my calorie deficit and implemented a diet plan I promised myself I would adhere to, with absolutely no "cheating" or "cheating". Over the past 5 months, I have increased from 180 lbs to 140 lbs, at the same time regaining my strength and then some.

What personally did you do during the first 10 days of using custom keto diet?

Because of my previous experiences with weight loss and custom keto with diet eating, I know what to do and don't worry if it works. Similar to how I got acquainted with keto, I was exposed to a variation of keto called the "carnivore diet". Just like before the keto, I was skeptical; But again, I had to take another leap of faith. Anecdotal reports about the carnivore's diet have become too widespread and consistent to ignore. I planned to reduce the calories by 25% from the Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR: 1900 calories / day) and eat a diet consisting of only beef, lamb, butter and water. My digestion has never been better and my bowel movements are more regular than ever. As a paramedic, I was once again confused.

Do you strictly count and track macros?

It's correct. I weigh every gram of every food I eat; however, I don't structure my daily calorie intake based on a daily calorie deficit. I don't believe that the body works completely for 24 hours, so I focus on my weekly calorie deficit. My weekly BMR is 13,300 calories, so a 25% deficit is 9,975 calories. Some days I eat more than others, and also use fasting water 1-2 days / week to balance the deficit. As I get thinner, I gradually increase the deficit, and I am currently eating with a 15% deficiency.

How has your life changed since going custom keto diet?

My worries disappeared and my mood was most stable in my entire life. Those benefits extend to my work, where I have found that colleagues and patients treat me differently, and, sadly, more respectfully. I have finally found my total balance in life and learned many lessons along the way. I remember that it is more important to be fulfilled than to fulfill impulsive desires.

Have you ever met the plateau? If so, how did you get over it?

From previous experience, I have foreseen the plateau and just keep eating and exercising as planned. With a caloric deficit, fat is burned. Math is math. The longest plateau is probably 2 weeks, but I'm not worried.

WHY (your motivation / motivation) to go in the right direction and focus?

My main motivation is to get back into the climax, but I know that the motivation is inconsistent and just ephemeral, and shouldn't be a crutch. What gives me the discipline and sanity to make the right choices at all times. Every small decision matters. Every moment matters.

What is your favorite custom keto with diet formula?

Ribeye steak! Sous vide at 135 degrees F for 3 hours before igniting a cast iron plan. The short ribs come to almost a second.

Ultimately, what advice would you give for a custom keto with diet beginner?

Do not cheat day / meal. There are no "refeeds". Focus on health first, and then fat loss. Custom keto with diet is not a temporary diet. That's how we have to eat. Plan, be consistent, and most importantly… Be patient.

Good luck!
