Monday through Friday. Like many, I work a 9-5 job and am completely exhausted when I get back home. All I want to do is relax with my hubs and puppies. I can certainly say that I do NOT want to cook for over an hour as soon as I step in the door!  The quicker the meal is to prepare, the more likely I am to resist the urge to run through the drive thru or eat something unhealthy.  If you are looking to switch up your diet and ultimately to lose some weight, the Keto Diet is where its at. This change allows for weight loss and a variety of other health benefits including decreased risks for many life  threatening diseases. 


SO. Keto= very low carbs + moderate protein + lots of good fat BUT…WHAT SHOULD I EAT FOR DINNER TONIGHT?The age old question. You finally get home after a long day and stare at the fridge wondering if you are going to be able to keep this keto diet that you are on or if you are going to smash a whole bag of bagels. We have all been there. The best thing to do is KEEP IT SIMPLE. Start with meat, add a good fat (oil, cheese, etc.) and add sides that are keto friendly (riced cauliflower, zucchini noodles, or a low carb veggie.) SIMPLE WAYS TO BE PREPARED ON THE KETO DIET I like to refer to this as lazy meal prep. Tip #1: Pick one day a week to sit down and plan out your meals.

Doing this once a week makes it very easy when you are feeling tired or indecisive during the week because your meal decisions are already made for you.  
Some people even go as far as meal planning for the month!! This usually is very helpful when trying to budget for groceries as well!

Tip #2: Use recipes with similar ingredients.

To save time and money, you may want your meals for the week to have similar ingredients.  This is a must when meal prepping all your food one or two days a week, it really saves time.

Tip #3  Check out some awesome meal prep ideas on Reddit.

So I am always checking the keto Reddit forums, but I didn’t know until recently they have a whole subreddit dedicated to keto meal prep.
